Ben Price

Ben Price – World Class Duathlete and K1’s longest serving team member.

Ben’s growing list of achievements is impressive. Countless wins in UK duathlons in 2015 are just rewards for the massive training commitment that Ben always puts himself through. A commitment that culminated in 5th in the 2014 World Duathlon Champs, and a commitment that spurs him on to even greater things!

Ben’s Biog

is a former minor counties cricketer who discovered a love for running and cycling in his late 20s. He has since achieved some fabulous results, in particular in duathlon where he came 3rd overall at the British Age Group Champs (2nd in age group) in early 2015.

He is 34 years old and teaches Geography at Dean Close School in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire where he lives with his wife, Rachael and two children, Barney and Kiki.

Ben says,

‘I have always enjoyed team sports but love the fact that in duathlon your results are directly related to what you put into your training, without relying on others around you.  The great thing about Team Kinetic-One is that whilst we are individual athletes, we get to enjoy the team element and support one another where we can. Although I am 34 and compete against many far younger athletes, I definitely have improvements to make as I am relatively new to the sport and there are always fresh challenges round the corner’.
